Key Objectives
 Service and improve business at existing accounts (direct customers and distributors).
 Recommend and implement sales plan in responsible area.
 Review, manage and improve pricing levels within guidelines set out by commercial management.
 Negotiation of contract agreements and settlements of claims.
 Update precise market database quartely, provide market analysis.
 Responsible for payment collection at customers.
 Develop new accounts for future sales.
 Exercise technical selling to the fullest by visiting technical employees at accounts.

Principal Accountabilities
 Exercise distributor management ensuring good service to and management of end-customers served through this channel. Distributor management includes.
 Provide market intelligence feedback to commercial management on.
 Manage relations with/service by internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
 Ownership of customer complaint (OFI) resolution.
 Develop long term customer relationships. Brick-wall key accounts to fortify our company position at the key account.
 Establish a yearly sales plan for the assigned business scope within the overall strategy. Timely reporting of all customer visists using pre-defined templates.
 Provide reliable sales forecast to ensure proper product availability planning.
 Cost control for assigned travel & entertainment cost.
 Complete market survey and reports before the agreed time.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

Requirements for Job (education or experience required to be able to perform this job):
• University grade, major in polymer chemical, chemical master or MBA degree is a plus.
• 3-5 years sales/marketing experience in related industry especial in resin, plastic, rubber and composite field.
• Good command of English. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills related particularly to customer interaction and ability to sell Akzo Nobel products
• Strong computer skills with ability to use spreadsheet, database, presentation, and word processing software.
• Able to work under high pressure and willing to travel frequently.
