You are good at communicating with customers and have experience of working in a fast paced contact centre environment. As part of our technical advice team you will be a key point of contact for customers. We will look to you to assist customers by post, telephone, email or social media. Along with providing technical and specification advice on AkzoNobel brands and products, you will also handle and resolve customer complaints by agreeing and negotiating settlements that work for the customer and the business. Important will be the ability to follow our processes and procedures as well as champion our products and services to maximise sales opportunities. In addition you will share customer feedback to the wider business to ensure we continue to offer best in class service.
 
With GCSE’s in Maths & English (or equivalent), you will have well developed written and spoken English, good customer service experience and strong communication skills. Having worked client service telephone based environment you will also be effective at influencing others, presenting benefits and resolving problems. Able to pick up technical knowledge quickly, you will be a good at prioritising and work well as part of a team. Of course you must have good PC skills and be comfortable using MSOffice and other business systems. In addition you will be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
