Responsibility

• Supports the maintenance and reliability work processes consistently striving for continual improvements.
• Has “Ownership” of Stores area and all related MRO, Tools, and Equipment.
• Identifies the sources of materials and services for planned work orders.
• Provide detailed, accurate reports as determined by management.
• Reviews the Weekly Forecast and identifies the deadline dates for specialty materials and equipment: confirms that required equipment is available for forecasted job dates.
• Reviews the planned backlog and confirms availability of requested materials and services. Communicates potential deficiencies to Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper and Maintenance Scheduling.
• Stages any required materials for all jobs and adjusts as required if the Daily Schedule changes.
• Uses SAP/SRM to obtain materials/services.
• PMI materials upon receipt.
• Maintain or updates BOM’s as needed in SAP.
• Perform inventory cycle count on MRO and Tools as required.

Job requirements/Candidate profile


• Minimum of 3 Years’ experience or training in related subjects.
• Experience in the chemical industry desired.
• Ability to reach a conclusion using relevant information and data and to determine the best course of action in a time frame that is consistent with business requirements.
• Ability to provide people written information necessary to do their job correctly; ability to make relevant information known in a responsive and effective way.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with operations, technical, mechanical/electrical maintenance technicians.
• SAP experience a plus.


Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access all areas of the plant.
• Occasionally lifting 55 pounds.
• Mixture of sitting standing, and walking throughout the site and up and down ladders.
• Ergo requirement for computer usage.
• No special PPE requirement in working area, but needs to comply with site regulation for PPE while in plant.
