Responsibility

• Supports the maintenance and reliability work processes consistently striving for continual improvements.
• Has “Ownership” of Vibration Program.
• Collect and analyze vibration data.
• Maintain database in data collector and AMS software.
• Provide equipment training and mentoring for vibration Techs.
• Write corrective work orders and follow up as required.
• Provide technical guidance for Mechanics with seal, pump, gearbox, and general equipment repairs.
• Become rotating equipment and mechanical seal SME.
• Perform troubleshooting as required.
• Provide detailed, accurate reports as determined by management.
• Conduct meetings, training sessions, demonstrations, and seminars.
• Become involved with Root Cause Analysis. (Complete training as needed)
• Support other Predictive Maintenance Programs. (Oil Analysis, Thermography, Acoustic Emissions, etc.)

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience or training in related subjects (maintenance and reliability work processes)
• Possess the ability to achieve certifications. (At a minimum Vibration Categories I and II within 3 years.)
• Experience in the chemical industry desired.
• Ability to reach a conclusion using relevant information and data and to determine the best course of action in a time frame that is consistent with business requirements
• Ability to provide people written information necessary to do their job correctly; ability to make relevant information known in a responsive and effective way.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with operations, technical, mechanical/electrical maintenance technicians.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Safety-minded professional with demonstrated skills and accomplishments.
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player in a high involvement work team environment and facilitates organizational effectiveness by modeling, reinforcing and coaching the elements of the Company Values reflecting critical organizational behaviors.
