A wide ranging and challenging role for a high-potential HR professional

We operate a strong and diverse HR team that supports all our sites, our business teams and the functions dedicated to our businesses. Within this context, your mission in this role is to work with other HR Business Partners to translate the Global AkzoNobel HR strategic plan into a tactical/operational HR plan. In doing so you act as a valuable new addition to our team, where you will steadily assume a greater level of responsibility over the next few years.

The role and its responsibilities
Working from the AkzoNobel Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, your core task is to support the business in delivering on their business ambitions.
In doing so you enhance talent management, performance management, a culture of high engagement, improve leadership effectiveness, and Strategic workforce planning.
At all times you ensure compliance within the internal company policies and procedures and supervise adherence to external laws.

Candidate profile
To apply for this position you must possess the following attributes:

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, or a Business, Legal or other related area;
• Around 8- 10 years of broad business or consultancy experience in different (international) environments;
• Ambitious and engaged, with the capability to grow further into a position at least two levels higher;
• Experience of managing at least one major project across two or more (business) units, countries or functions (change management, labor unions, business models, HR Tools);
• Good fit with our Company values and Code of Conduct;
• Self-aware and effective relationship builder and communicator with excellent verbal and written English language skills.
