AkzoNobel is searching for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for our United States Talent Acquisition team.  The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will provide end to end hands-on recruitment support across multiple functions or locations of AkzoNobel. The Senior Talent Resourcing Partner is responsible for the delivery of all recruiting activities including the strategy, proactive sourcing efforts, advertising, candidate review, prescreening and working with hiring managers on selection and negotiation of offers to ensure an exceptional candidate experience. 

Principal Accountabilities
- Personally manages the end to end recruitment delivery of senior vacancies in the business.

- Conducts robust intake calls with hiring managers to ensure solid understanding of the role and creates the interview plan.

- Develops proactive, creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

- Develops and maintains a network of outside contacts to identify and source top talent.

- Advises and partners with hiring managers on the most suitable route to attracting and selecting candidates and deliver the agreed solution.

- Carries out initial screening and the first interview of shortlisted candidates as required for the vacancies allocated.

- Carefully assesses candidates’ past performances to as to project their skills, knowledge and attributes as predictors of job success; recommends qualified candidate to hiring managers

- Follows up with interviewed candidates to advise them of next steps in the process.

- Consolidates interview feedback and facilitates debrief sessions with the interview team to drive effective hiring decisions.

- Negotiates and extends offers of employment to selected candidates.

- Ensures that applicant records and data are properly maintained and that all phases of the recruitment process are in full legal compliance.

- When unable to identify recruiting solutions, escalates any issues to the Talent Resourcing Team Leader so that a resolution is quickly identified.

- Participates in committees and special projects as assigned.

- Collates information from all the Talent Resourcing Partners responsible for pipelining other functional streams in order to form a coherent big picture of labor trends in the local market.

- Promotes AkzoNobel's Employer Branding Proposition across area of responsibility in order to achieve our employer of choice objectives.

- Provides appropriate training and support to hiring managers to ensure they are competent & skilled in recruiting in line with AkzoNobel processes, best practices and local law.

- Mentors and assists with the training of new hires into the Talent Resourcing team, advocating recruitment best practices.

- Proactively looks to drive efficiency of process and reduce associated costs.

- Provides support to the LCoE in implementation/roll out of new programs.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Management, HR or Psychology preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years in recruitment experience; at least 3 years in-house recruitment experience facilitating high touch consultative recruitment process and conducting searches for professional through mid-level management positions.

- Professional training in sourcing, interviewing, and selection best practices.

- Proven experience of delivering successful, best practices, end to end recruitment campaigns within specified deadlines up-to senior levels.

- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build relationships, recruit candidates, and facilitate selection decisions with leaders.

- Must be able to effectively consult and facilitate interview team members through debrief discussion leading them to decisions on candidates.

- Knowledge of current local Employment Law relating to recruitment and selection

- Experience of working with e-recruitment (ATS, Taleo experience desirable), social media platforms and creative sourcing techniques.

- Preferably have had experience of implementing HR related projects.

- Experience in building talent pipelines.

- Experience in using analytics as a tool for monitoring performance.
