• Develop and implement an account plan, including clear measureable account objectives, to build long-term relationships with customer accounts in East China include Mining and Port Key accounts.
• Influence specifications with owners, engineers, EPC’s and OEM’s, so IP is preferably sole specified on general specifications and project specific specifications and follow contract chain to track and help secure sales based on defending specification position at all levels
• Provide technical advice on coating specifications to ‘up sell’ solutions and bring new coatings technology to the customer/market
• Create a project pipeline though Oneplace (CRM system);
• Key account manage customers and track project packages through Oneplace
• Monitor and understand the activities of our competitors with these customers
• Seek and develop new business opportunities in mining and Port Machinery in China
• Support local sales team and coordinate project tracking and key accounts
• Work with KAM team (and regional sales teams) in other locations globally to achieve mining sales growth targets

Job requirements/Candidate profile

Work Experience:  

• Experience in the coatings/industrial markets
• Engineering sales experience and strong KAM of major customer accounts within the coatings PC/Industrial markets
• Experience of mining/Port Machinery market would be especially valuable

Personal Skills/Competencies:

• Pro-active, self-starter and finisher
• Excellent relationship builder
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Good numeracy and analytical skills

Computer Skills:  

• Good IT skills particularly in the use of MS Outlook and MS Office and familiarity with web-based systems.
• Oneplace CRM system (Training will be given)

Language requirements: 

• English (Fluent)
• Mandarin (Fluent)
