For our SMU Metal Coatings in Hilden we are currently looking for a

Planning Project Manager (m/f)
Metal Coatings is operating an IBP process (Integrated Business Planning), ensuring company-wide standardized processes, a culture of continuous improvement, process-centric behaviors, AkzoNobel values and required capabilities.
As Planning Project Manager you will manage the deployment of the IBP process and will collaborate with the leadership and other key roles within Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations and then support, coach and train those functions through the standard execution of a global IBP process.
As a member of the Central Planning team you will manage (monitoring, reporting, communication, progress and metrics) the improvement of the IBP process for Metal Coatings. You will participate in and contribute to the preparation, validation, implementation and operation of the IBP reviews. A strong focus will be on the capacity planning, inventory management and supply chain optimization.

You will bring good communication and interpersonal skills and you are able to lead workshops and working groups. In addition you are result orientated, flexible, have the ability to prioritize and focus on the most important topics and good problem solving skills. You are able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations.
A bachelor’s degree in economics or business management (or equivalent) as well as a good understanding of Planning and Supply Chain processes, MS-Office, SAP and strong analytical skills complete your profile.
As the job holder has global responsibility you will need willingness to travel.
