1. Ensure all activities in compliance with the AkzoNobel HSE&S policy, Standards and Guidance Notes, as well as fully in compliance with the latest legislatives rules and regulation applicable to our site.
2. Train, motivate and guide the Quality team to engage in continuous improvement in the services to the internal and external customers.
3. Guide and support the site operation, both Powder and VR, and any other SMU on Site, in compliance with ISO9001/TS16949/ISO14001/ISO18001 standards as required. Regular review and improve procedures, working instructions and documentation.
4. Conduct internal and external quality audits, including customers’ audit, according to Quality System requirement.
5. Review and update existing quality control system with the support and guidance from the global quality team. Ensure that the quality management system and strategies are implemented and complied throughout the Site.
6. Review and optimize testing methods, equipment calibration and maintenance as required by Quality system and specifications, to ensure RMs and packaging material, semi-finish goods and FGs quality meets customers’ requirement.
7. Conduct RMs supplier audits according to quality management system.
8. Manage and track customer complaints, both quality and logistic related. Investigate root causes and develop short term and long term solutions. Respond to customers the investigation outcome and preventive action to the customers.
9. Support new product introduction.
10. Implement ALPS/TRACC in continuous improvement.
11. Any other responsibility that may be assigned as required by the business and operation, within the AkzoNobel business principle and legislative requirement.
