Responsibility

Technical Sales Representative needed for adhesives and coatings business for Oregon and Washington (Northwest territory).  
 
Travel up to 75%
 
The TSR will be responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating and directing sales activities while maintaining CRS processes in the adhesive and coatings application areas of building products (i.e. gulam beams, cross laminated timers, I-joist) engineered flooring and furniture (i.e. curved plywood, board on stile, paper lamination) in assigned territory.
- Coordinating technical assistance to customer's adhesives and/or coatings needs within the relative application process related to products and application equipment. 
- Directing campaigns to increase market potential and establish product line acceptance securing customer accounts and will develop sales, profit and department budget forecasts.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

 
Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in sales/customer service in furniture/building products related manufacturer knowledge of adhesive application process in veneering/lamination 
- High School Diploma required; AS or BS degree preferred.
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate to advance use of all Microsoft Office products, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. 
- Excellent communication skills  
- Ability to develop new customer relationships and maintain existing customer relationships
- A mechanically inclined individual with knowledge of application equipment is a plus, as well as experience in the wood adhesives and/or coatings market.
