Experienced in payroll administration you are looking for a CV enhancing experience in a market leading Global business that will encourage your input, welcome your ideas and allow you to act on them. That business is AkzoNobel. We are now looking for a Payroll Administrator to provide payroll, finance administration and coordination support for our People Services team in Altrincham initially for a period of 12 months, with the potential for further opportunities.
 
As Payroll Administrator you will help ensure the payroll runs smoothly and assist with general finance admin such as progressing invoices, payments and ledgers. You will also handle payroll and finance related queries as well as support short-term payroll projects. Important will be the ability to ensure processes are followed and work delivered in-line with service level agreements.
 
You will be an integral part of a high performing and engaged team in a vibrant working environment within People Services. We are seeking individuals who enjoy a busy and collaborative working environment, and in return it is extremely important to us that we all enjoy our work, are recognised for success and are given support and encouragement from managers and colleagues alike.
 
To be considered for this role, you must have experience in a payroll administration role and be a proficient user of Excel. Experience of working within a shared services environment  would also be beneficial. You must have an eye for detail and be able to work to deadlines. Comfortable prioritising your work you will be a team player who is good on operating on your own initiative when needed. Experience of using a case management system would be desirable and in the event of a high number of applications, CIPP membership would be an advantage.
