DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the marketing mix for the Wood Coatings Distribution market segment the Americas to provide products, programs, services, advertising and pricing that is required to achieve objectives.
- Develop, manage and lead the Wood Coatings Distribution marketing plans and activities which are aligned with the strategic plans of the regional sales teams and the distribution strategy, to achieve agreed growth and business objectives.
- Control the life cycle management of the respective product portfolio from implementation of products to phase out.
- Approve new product development based on market research, market needs, trends and innovation ideas under consideration of the brand strategy.
- Develop the product sales pricing strategy on value propositions with regard to the pricing policy, to ensure sales and profit for assigned product portfolio to meet WFA targets.
- Provide the sales groups with all product related communication and promotion material to support sales targets and provide training support to Sales Team. 
- Manage the dedicated advertising budget/cost center. 
- Work with the Communication Manager to align brand image, brand identity and
- brand integrity with the rest of the marketing mix.
- Align marketing strategy with other WFA Brand-and business development manager(OEM)
- to gain multi brand synergies.
- Monitor relevant competition.
- Perform other duties as required

Job requirements/Candidate profile

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in chemistry, business management, marketing, business administration or related field / related experience
- 10+ years technical experience with wood coatings or business experience with marketing or product management in a related industry
- Possess proven skills in Sales & Marketing in international, Industrial OEM market.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross functionally, while driving objectives.
- Have strong leadership skills, solid business acumen and a demonstrated ability to work successfully within a diverse, matrix organization.
- Creativity and Innovation skills
- Abstract Thinking capacity that challenges the status quo and entertains visionary concepts
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
