Having gained customer facing experience in the vehicle refinishing sector you are ready for a new challenge in a business that will encourage your input, welcome your ideas and act on them. Then this role with AkzoNobel as a Technical Representative is the position you are looking for. We want you to join the team and utilizes your customer skills and technical understanding of vehicle refinishing to provide technical support and training for customers.
As Technical Representative you will act as the primary technical contact for end users. You will support new business activity as well as maintain existing customer sales by providing technical assistance and training on the use and application of AkzoNobel products, services, equipment and documentation. This will involve carrying out product demonstrations, resolving technical issues as well as testing and introducing new and revised products. You will work with sales teams to develop sales plans by providing technical expertise too. Important also will be the ability to track sector trends and provide recommendations to improve our service to customers.

To succeed you will have a strong technical understanding of the Car Refinishing sector gained in a paint bodyshop environment as well as good customer service skills. Comfortable building relationships you will have strong communication and IT skills, an analytical approach and experience of training others. Adaptable and highly motivated you will possess the ability to develop technical and product knowledge quickly and become expert on the AkzoNobel range. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
