The Field Services Manager (Southern Region) ( Texas to the west / Tennessee to the north ) is responsible for inspecting and managing the field complaint / claim process in the Southern Region.  The Southern Region is defined as mid Tennessee to Florida and East Coast to West Texas.  Selection and final inspection sites will be determined by the Field Services Team.  The Field Services team comprises of the following members:  Northern Region Sales Manager, Northern & Southern Field Services Managers, and Sales Coordinator.
The Field Services Manager communicates with customers and schedules site inspections associated with field failures (complaints / claims) submitted. 
·         Requires a basic understanding of AkzoNobel’s coil and extrusion product portfolio.
·         Requires an understanding of AkzoNobel warranties and normal performance expectations of the various warranted building product systems.
·         Recognition of coil coater application process and problems associated with such.
·         General understanding of substrates and pretreatment interactions
·         Must be willing and able to interact with all three tiers of the North American pre-paint market.  (Substrate sources, coil coaters and fabricators)
Typical Duties 
Claims Resolution:
·         Process all field complaints and claims for warranted building products.
·         Communicates with fabricators, steel sources, coil coaters and building owners.
·         Coordinates and assists AkzoNobel commercial, technical and supply chain departments regarding investigations.
·         Conducts field building inspections: Southern Region.
·         Utilizes all available tools to determine validity, and as necessary, resolution and final deposition of a complaint/claim.
Repair Management:
·         In conjunction with Field Services team determine specific type of repair
·         Coordinates recommended repair to customers
·         In conjunction with Northern Field Services Manager: manages approved contractor base for timely claims resolution
