The Technical Service and Market Development Manager (‘TSMD’) plays 3 roles. 30% working load is acted as technical expert,  to have direct interaction with key accounts, and to build one more solid technical layer within key accounts for team. Working together with account managers, to design a scheme to promote our products/solution/ package from technical side in order to reach budget.40% working load is acted as technical expert, to identify and propose to BM the new areas/applications/ packages/solutions for future growth. After approved, actively drive from technical side and work closely with teammates to make the achievement. Measured driving efforts/result and value of input.  30% working load is to build technical tools/lab capability in order to support the market requirement.


1.      Technical development responsibility in Asia for segment/application areas identified for growth.
2. Within the identified growth areas, be responsible for proposing technical strategies for expanded portfolio in order to maximize market penetration and profits.
3. Taking a technical developing role,  to develop new markets where growth potential is high and/or of strategic importance.
4. Facilitate the transfer of knowledge between customers, Sales and Technical Service.
5. Maintain liaison with the other regions with respect to global accounts.
6. Participate in establishing business strategy and setting up short term and long term technical development plans
7. Driving growth from technical side.
8. Act as an expert in detergent and P&P working areas.

Job Requirements:

• Master degree in Chemical Engineering, top 20 university  • Knowledge of detergent market, chelates market is a plus• More than 15 years working experience with good record in a business to business environment, responsible as an expert, technical development manager, R&D background is a plus.• Should have talent and ambition to work in a technical sales environment.• Experience and capability to run/lead a technical project • Open minded for cultural diversity and willing to travel extensively (70+%).• Excellent commercial skills in order to establish good relationships within targeted customer organizations.• Good computer skills with ability to use spreadsheet, database, presentation, and word processing software
