Sales Order Team Leader

Experienced at developing high performing customer service teams in a call centre environment you are looking to develop your expertise in a business that will encourage your input, welcome your ideas and act on them. That business is AkzoNobel. We’re looking for a Team Leader to manage the work load of as well as develop our sales people tasked with taking customer orders over the phone.
As Team Leader you will ensure excellent customer service by evenly distributing workloads and by allocating resources appropriately across your team. You will make sure key customer accounts are managed efficiently and effectively as well as handle service complaints. You will be involved in setting team objectives as well as monitoring and recording performance against objectives. You will also coach and mentor your team to guarantee customer engagement is of the highest standard. You will also build internal and external relationships and help to cement brand loyalty by proactively endorsing sales promotions and new products. Important too will be the ability to identify opportunities to improve service levels and our offering to customers.
Effective at leading and managing sales people in a call centre environment you must be an experienced customer service professional. With good grades at GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths, you will be used to overseeing business and CRM systems. You will excel at developing teams and operating appraisal systems too.
Skilled at building relationships quickly you are a strong communicator who is comfortable resolving customer issues. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
