Responsibility

Purpose/Key Objective of the Position:
The Receptionist is the first point of contact on site for visitors. Responsible for the operation of the switchboard, mailroom and additional administrative duties. Must be able to handle high volume of phone calls and transfer accordingly as required. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and handle a busy fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet/log in visitors and provide visitor badges
• Operate telephone system and transfer calls accordingly
• Receives, sorts and posts all incoming mail from US Post Office, FedEx, UPS and DHL; receives outgoing mail daily and adds postage.
• HSE related administrative duties, including: send out SDS bi-weekly, log certificates of insurance (liability), file training records, create purchase orders, etc.
• Maintain Outlook schedules for conference rooms and company vehicles
• Maintain PPE area

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Human relations skills to deal effectively with visitors in person or on the telephone.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook).
• Capable of operating telephone switchboard.
