A technical specialist with an established knowledge of Passive Fire Protection in both hydrocarbon and cellulosic markets. Provides expert management of our product testing and certification process
·         Responsible for Type Approval and certification delivery and management
§  Lead  the design of internal and third party fire testing programmes ensuring they are undertaken to the highest technical standard with regular evaluation and interpretation of results so as to maximise output and improve success rates.
§  Carry out test data analysis, interpretation and product assessment
§  Build strong relationships with test houses and certification bodies
§  Influence product assessment and certification to meet segment and market requirements
§  Identify gaps and areas for improvement within existing product certification. Drive corrective action to address
§  Monitor and report on changes in testing and certification of fire protection products
§  Support the creation and   implementation of fire design and engineering solutions
§  Provide assistance and market input to influence new product development and support testing
§  Represent the company in targeted external industry institutions,standards commitees etc  regarding fire protection certification and testing
§  Control primer and topcoat system approvals
§  Input into the creation of internal and external bulletins and technical notes
§  Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations.
