Reporting to the HR Manager, the Administrative Assistant works closely with the Plant Management team in meeting the clerical support needs of the Plant. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process orders, label printing, processing instruction printing, production packet compilation, help perform cycle counting, verification of receiver for accuracy, filing of all MRO/MRP paperwork, monitor open in-bound raw material PO’s, maintenance of office supplies, coordination of office equipment repair and service.
• Responsible for processing daily outgoing mail and maintaining postage and supplies.
• Maintains safety (PPE supplies) storage room. Maintains contractor/vendor approval documentation, updating the spreadsheet with the most current information from contractors/vendors & required certificates of insurance. Regularly maintains safety communications plant-wide such as meeting postings, safety talk topics, meeting minutes, etc. Assists with maintenance of MSDS documentation.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of plant onboarding SharePoint site.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college education preferred
• Three to six (3-6) years experience in payroll or general clerical skills
• Must have strong PC knowledge and skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel software.
• Must have excellent data entry skills.
• Must be capable of making independent decisions and judgments based on process experience
• Must be well organized, accurate, timely and discreet.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, work well with all groups, take the initiative, be flexible and cooperative.
• Demonstrates strong customer orientation – understands customer need and demonstrates excellence in serving customers.
• Some experience with SAP preferred
