We are currently recruiting for a UK Distributor Territory Manager for our AkzoNobel Trade, Retail and Automotive brands to deliver agreed volume, sales, margin and cash collection targets.
 
As a UK Distributor Territory Manager you will maintain and develop existing customers including (B&Q, B&M, Homebase, Wickes, Brewers, Travis Perkins) and new customers within a defined territory (South East - Brighton, Horsham, Sevenoaks). Through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods you will be responsible to optimise the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be involved in activating national agreed shelf plans, marketing initiatives, new product launches and promotions and ensure the continuing compliance of these initiatives.
 
We will then look to you to use your expertise to work closely with specified Customer Business Teams via central communications to deliver national customer plans at a Territory level.  You will prepare sales presentations and proposals and coordinate use of other company resources to provide value-added services to accounts. You would also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities to ensure we continue to lead in the sector.
 
The successful candidate must possess a current UK driving license, and have customer facing sales experience. A good communicator you will demonstrate strong problem solving skills as well as the ability to operate processes and procedures safely. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
