The Segment Manager at International Paint LLC the applicant will analyze OEM and customer technical specifications and drawings and translate them into product features and tests for industrial and aerospace coatings products.
Will partner with and work closely with RD&I to create the innovation pipeline to ensure the development and execution of the product portfolio growth strategy.
Conduct market research using Conjoint Analysis and software statistical tools including SAS to implement needs-based segmentation model. Track regulatory environment to ensure compliance with raw materials, product formulations, label and health and safety requirements.
Develop financial models to validate value propositions and will analyze product portfolios. Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to design and develop business intelligence platforms to monitor commercial performance of products. Administer the technology and product lifecycle management process. Develop value propositions and implement needs-based segmentation models.
Provide input to IT teams on the development of online document management systems for commercial documents, and ensure SAP Enterprise software supports the Product Master, Sales and Distribution and Production Planning modules in accordance with needs of the business.
Facilitate the development and maintenance of color development software and associated color management tools and databases. Run Lean Six Sigma projects to optimize product operations to deliver cost savings to the business.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing or related field and 1 year of experience in financial modelling and market engineering tools, including New Product Design.
Experience must include: marketing and product development of protective coatings for industrial and aerospace applications; market analysis and segment planning process; technical product development through the Stage-Gate process; business information technology experience, including Data-warehousing, OLAP Data modelling, and Business Objects, Hyperion, and Cognos Business Intelligence platforms. Must have experience with the following SAP modules: S&OP, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, MRP, Product Master Data, and PLM.
