1. Directs production and ensures cost effectiveness and consistency with prescribed quality, accuracy and performance standards
2. Maintains plant property and equipment in good condition to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and to ensure effective and economical operations
3. Prepares and submits operating reports to management to inform them of the current production status and to make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness
4. Develop Site CI strategy and implementation in site
5. Direct and coach the site employees to make prioritization (timing, resources, and sequence of actions) and implementation of improvement activities to best achieve the targets for the key performance indicators of the yearly plant improvement plan. Review the ALPS operating framework (goals & targets, KPIs, operating processes, people) to ensure compliance with corporate and BA requirements and highlight to the plant management team areas of concerns to agree corrective actions.  
6. Lead/ support the local ALPS implementation and build-up of required capabilities and ensure ALPS full and successful implementation and practical application on a daily basis.
7. Network within the AkzoNobel CI community and share insights, problems and opportunities to promote improved performance and problem-solving across the company as well as encourage others to do the same
8. Manage multiple departments of the site in different maturity of CI journey and develop an understanding of strategic business needs in order to anticipate the requests for support and leverage learning between SMU and BA Advisors.
9. Deliver effective coaching and mentoring service to site leadership team and personnel, facilitate CI workshops and trainings as requested
10. Set visual management standards and lead to implement throughout the whole site
11. Develop 5S standards and lead to promote 5S in production, warehousing, office and utility areas with sustainable approach.
