Our organization in the Netherlands regularly draws on the skills and resources supplied by a Contingent Workforce. This includes temporary workers (‘uitzendkrachten’) and professional staff, including Independent Contractors (‘zzp-ers’).
 
Within this context, your mission in this role is to implement standard contingent worker policies and procedures, as well as efficient supplier management. In doing so you ensure that all requests are fulfilled in the most cost efficient way, working closely with key stakeholders and hiring managers.

Contingent Workforce Manager Netherlands
 

The role and its responsibilities
 
Working from Amsterdam or Arnhem, the Netherlands, your core objective is to develop and implement an effective hiring policy, liaising with relevant stakeholders including HR, Tax and Legal. In doing so you ensure access to a complete contingent labor pool while optimizing the supply base and ensuring all risks are managed and monitored.

This requires you to develop a contingent job posting site and to optimize a current process of 700 invoices per month. You also assume responsibility for system efficiencies and Fieldglass integration, manage recruiters and back office, and ensure proper on/off boarding, compliance, monitoring and reporting.

In addition you troubleshoot, handling and solving escalated issues from workers, suppliers and managers. This demands a creative approach, particularly when ensuring that hiring managers are compliant, and when the supply base is not delivering the required candidates.
