Provides first line support by email/phone and informs/updates customers and end users with current product Technical Data Sheets, Color (equipment/tools) and bulletins.
This position can be based in High Point, NC or Roanoke, VA and will include approximately 50% travel (North America)
- Must follow all established safety rules and procedures
- Must follow and adhere to company’s Code of Conduct
- First line support for customers  via telephone  email and customer visits
- Communicate to field force the needed support in case a technical issue can’t be solved
- Support  equipment installation according to sales requests
- Feedback to Sales, Technical Coordinator and Regional Technical Service Manager
- Audit of  Finishing Schedule SOP’s written for customer processes
- Perform customer assessments to understand  process capabilities, coatings used, and potential continuous Improvement
- Develop and deliver trainings to Commercial team and customer base as requested
- Support  new product development for NA Business segments

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Two to four year degree in related field
- Minimum of 2-5 years of wood finishing experience
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Must be knowledgeable in various finish application s and equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety guidelines
- Ability deliver correspondence professionally and effectively to all levels of management, peer group and customers
- Must have effective interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
- Dedicated and committed safety leadership and presence
- Analytical reasoning and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office, Power Point , Excel, Word,  email, reporting, presentation development.
- Coaching/teaching and decision making skills
- Certifications in Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Project Management
