Key Objectives of the Job:
Material Planning. Orders raw materials for the site. Acts as back-up for production scheduler. Assists with customer service.

Responsibilities:
▪ Purchase raw materials related to production for film and paint factory. Work with vendors to optimize pricing, inventory and delivery.
▪ Communicate with planning, production and customer service to insure smooth flow of orders through the system..
▪ Performs and oversees administrative tasks related to orders, receipts and shipments conform procedures.
▪ Prepares and monitors the order fulfillment- and delivery process, and anticipates on eventual disruptions. Provides practical solutions to resolve issues.
▪ Calculates transport volumes and assesses whether special measures should be taken. Calls-off transport modalities.
▪ Contributes to CI / ALPS projects and proactively identifies and signals opportunities to increase performance and efficiency.
▪ Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or related field required. Will consider an Associates degree with 5+ years in a planning role.
• Minimum of 3- 5 years Planning and ordering experience in a manufacturing environment required; coatings industry preferred
• Able to manage stressful situations, an outside of the box thinker, energetic, and adaptable to change
• Film coatings and experience purchasing raw materials are both a plus
• MS Office experience
• APICS certification is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
