For our business unit Performance Coatings in Hilden we are looking for a
 
Demand Planner (m/f)
 
 
Your responsibilities:
 
-  “Translates” the Sales and Marketing plans into a Sales Demand Plan in the forecasting system
- Build monthly forecast using statistical tool and additional market information, and concentrates on the 1 – 24 months period
- Responsible for master data required to perform statistical forecasting (e.g. corrected history)
- Refine forecast based on latest information on a day to day basis
- Identify gaps between target and unconstrained demand plan
- Supports the IBP process and w orks in close cooperation with the Marketing, Sales, and Finance organizations to facilitate accurate and efficient customer service.
- Prepare and communicate regular and ad-hoc management and controlling reporting as needed by the organization.
- Working closely together and report to the international Demand Manager North of Europe

Job requirements/Candidate profile

Your qualifications:
 
- Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent education
- At least 3 years’ experience  in a demand or planning function
- Very good knowledge of planning and supply chain processes in an industrial environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer- and service orientation
- Willingness for frequent travel in North Rhine Westphalia for the upcoming years
- IT literacy:  SAP or other ERP system, MS Office
- Fluent English and German language skills
