Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities
Key Objective of Position: Provide comprehensive administrative support within the Production and safety department involving SAP, LIMS, record keeping, filing and preparation of new internal documents. Liaison between Production Department and Logistics.
Principal accountabilities
1.             Balance and complete Production Orders, ensuring all goods have been issued and pack-out is reconciled. Run efficiency reports.
2.             Ensure each batch has a ‘final’ analysis from the lab and is recorded in LIMS.   
3.             Close-out Non-Conformance Rework Data upon issuance of final goods in SAP.
4.   Coordination of product in restricted/Blocked status to recertify or obtain a non-
      conformance and rework.
5.             Work with Logistics to determine pack-out recording errors by Production. Revise Campaigns as necessary.
6.             Develop, maintain and conduct SAP training for Operators.
7.             Maintain organization files and records.
8.             Copy Production documents from IMS on USB Drives on a monthly basis, as per 14PR017.
9.             Daily production reconciliation in RUNIT database.
10.          Assist Logistics in physical inventory
11.          Assist all departments with end of moth reconciliation.
12.          Order supplies for Production and Safety
13.          Assist with other production projects as needed.
 Job Context (the Nature & Scope of the Business)
The Pasadena site manufactures organic peroxides which are sold to major manufacturers of thermoplastic resins such as PVC, LDPE, polypropylene, EPS and acrylic resins.  Organic Peroxide products are hazardous, mainly due to temperature controlled transportation and handling.  The Pasadena site also manufactures thermoset and crosslinking peroxides, as well as toll produces optical monomers.  The Operations/Production Manager is responsible for all manufacturing at the site and coordinates across all department lines at the site as well as with the business managers in Chicago.
Job Requirement / Candidate profile
Theoretical qualifications and practical experience and essential functions
•              High School diploma/GED, with strong mathematical and clerical skills.
•              3-5 years experience in general office and computer competency
•              Prefer experience in SAP
•              Good communication skills between supervisors, production managers, and supply chain.
•              Strong organizational skills
•              Type, read, write and speak English
•              Strong  computer skills
•              Must be able to wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses and hard hat if go into the plant
