Responsibility

Responsible for carrying out raw material evaluations in laboratory for cost savings/improvements on performance initiatives. 
Works closely with Global Project Teams to support regional technical approval of the new products by delivering FFP / Support test results with agreed timelines under local condition.
 
Report Near-miss incidents, Hazards, unsafe acts and any Irregular acts/conditions.
 
Ensure compliance with our Product Stewardship Policy, and explore the replacement of high risk raw materials in existing product formulations, and develop our products with full regard for HSE&S aspects.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Bachelor Degree in polymer chemistry or related subject is a minimium, Master Degree is preferred
- > 5 years lab experiences
- Understanding / knowledge in marine coating technologies, experiences in formulating marine coating is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of both oral and written English
- Sufficient lab skills required, quickly on board to work in lab efficiently.
