Employee & Labor Relations:
- Manages the labor relations and contract administration responsibilities (where applicable) in the multisite including: facilitating a partnership with the union committee, sitting at the table for labor contract negotiations (if applicable), and administering all step grievance proceedings.
- Manage the implementation and participate in the formulation of the sites / companies labor relations policy, e.g. progressive discipline, contract interpretations, consistency in management actions, protection of management rights etc.
- Ensure that the Mgt. of the site /company and sBU s and Country HR coordinator are informed of labor relations issues and developments through regular monthly reports of activities, and other reports, as needed.
- Monitors employee relations throughout the site / company for developing or actual trends, issues and problems, and provides guidance to local management on addressing issues. Develops and monitors programs to promote positive employee relations.
- Analyzes employee turnover, identifies problems and works with local management to address issues and maintain turnover within acceptable limits.
- Keep abreast of new developments and techniques in the HR field as well as governmental regulations through contacts in professional societies and organizations, seminars, technical papers and periodicals.
- Ensure the site / company’s compliance with Corporate, BU and sBU s and HR policies and procedures; develop and administer site and HR procedures.
P&D Dialogue / Talent Review / Engagement and/or other HR relative HR projects:
- As key owner of the respective processes, ensures appropriate planning, communication, training / coaching be organized for the effectiveness of the processes;
- Works closely with the managers and employees to drive for on-time completion of the processes as well as good quality of the process as expected;
- Counsels employees/ supervisors to resolve personal or company related problems, which affect the site & employee’s performance.
- Leverages performance mgmt. and engagement tools and processes to build a high performance culture aligned with the business strategy and company vision.
- Links workforce planning and Talent Review process together to effectively plan talent development, succession as well as recruitment etc HR activities
- Develop organizational capability and leadership succession by building a strong talent pipeline and competency development projects
Comp& Ben / Learning & Development / Recruitment:
- Works closely with the managers on the respective budgeting/forecasting of labor relative costs and FTEs; liaise with HR COE and SSC accordingly on the respective HR activities plan and solution delivery;
- Bridges the communication between the HR COE, SSC and the managers/ employees as needed; Provides facilitation / coaches on the HR relative processes, and on utilization of respective tools as appropriate.
- Assesses the above HR relative activities together with the business, re-adjusts or discusses on improvement with HR COE and SSC as needed.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- University graduate level or above
- 7+ years of relevant experience in HR generalist and/or Business Partner role,  4+ years as supervisor or manager in multinational companies;
- Good understanding of performance management, talent management as well as
- Good knowledge of state-of-art HR practices
- Familiar with China Labour Law and regulations
- Self-motivated and business oriented, team player
- Strong interpersonal/communication and problem solving skills
- Self-initiated, result driven, strong sense of responsibility, drive for continuous improvement
- Good language (both English and Chinese) and fluent PC skills
