If the answer is yes, you might be the Operational Team Leader to our Customer Service team that AkzoNobel is looking for!

As a Team Leader you will coach and develop team members, initiating and implementing changes to meet AkzoNobels ambition to always be better. You will be involved in several different processes and will be having direct contact with customers, our sales organization and production. This is the perfect position for you who thrives in an dynamic environment where you are building and developing your own network!

Together with your positive, helpful and competent team you ensure daily operation runs smoothly and customer requirements on order fulfillment are met. You will face challenges and problems which makes your day to day work varying and developing to meet customer questions in the best way. .

Main responsibilities

  • Personnel responsibilities for four team members wich incorporates supporting day to day routines, keeping development and salary dialogue, managing staff planning and contribute to a working climate with continuous improvement

  • Receive orders, transfer them to SAP, check orderstatus, monitor the status, manage billing, deliver shipping documents and follow-up

  • Handle and answer questions from internal an external customers

  • Responsible for complaints and return handling

  • Keep both external and internal customers pro-actively informed about issues regarding order fulfillment

  • Bachelor´s degree within relevant field

  • 3-5 years experience as a leader or within customer service

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both oral and written

To suceed as a Team Leader, you need to be a pro-active problemsolver who loves the challenge finding new solutions. In addition you are able to handle several different tasks and questions at the same time. You are accurate and able to structure your work in order to succeed and meet the customer requirements. As spider in the web you have excellent communication skills and show team sensitivity.

This position falls within the Business Unit Industrial Chemicals, which produces and markets salt (industrial and foodgrade), energy, DME, chlor-alkali products and derivatives like monochloroacetic acid (MCA). The Customer Service Department is part of the BU Sales Operation Department and interlinks with the business side (Sales and Marketing) and the operational side (plant and site logistics) in order to best serve the customer.
The team in Gothenburg serves mainly the Swedish market withdeliveries of Salt and Chlor-Alkali products. Customer volume varies from one pallet per year till multiple full truck deliveries per week.
