  - Make sure all export documents comply with customer requirements for accuracy and content.
- Book ocean shipments so as to comply with arrival requirements of overseas customers.
- Track and trace ocean shipments of assigned customers.
- Initiate correspondence / documentation transfers to customers such as shipment notifications and respond to customer inquiries.
- Ensure that orders are distributed to the appropriate Eka production facility.
- Help monitor assigned customer order patterns to anticipate product requirements and limit emergency shipments.
- On export peroxide shipments, ensure that an adequate number of leased ISO’s are available to meet shipment requirements.
- Initiate / follow up on Customer Satisfaction Opportunity’s in e-Trac.
- Maintain a high sensitivity for worker safety, legal issues, Quality Goals, and regulatory compliance.  Support and work with the BU and SBU QSHERA policies, procedures, and goals.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner. 
- Support the Guiding Principles of Responsible Care.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- 4 year college degree, Business or Logistics preferred with at least 5 years of experience dealing with containerize exports and hazardous shipments.
- Abilitly to read, analyze and interpret general business, professional journal, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports and present informationto managers, customers,peers and subordinates. Ability to maintain a good relationship with customers,managers, peers and subordinates.
- Ability to cross train in different functions of  logistics
- Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fraction, percentages,ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited or standardization exists. Ability to interpret variety of instrucions furnished in written,oral diagram or schedule form
- Strong Knowledge of SAP, Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Other duties as assigned
- Valid Passport and driver’s licenses.
