·         AkzoNobel will implement ALPS (AkzoNobel Leading Performance Systems), ensuring company-wide standardized processes, a culture of continuous improvement, process-centric behaviours, AkzoNobel values and required capabilities. ALPS will focus on all functions, including SRD, HR, IM, and Finance.
·         ALPS will be Designed by the ISC Center of Expertise, Deployed by the BA organizations and executed (Do) by the sites
·         The position is part of the BA Performance Coatings Deployment organization, will focus on a specific ALPS Plan (Delivery) work stream and will be responsible for deployment in a specific part / BU / segment of the BA (work stream owner or subject matter expert)
·         The position will be member of a team that visits planning entities during the deployment (6 months throughput) to support the entities in implementing the standard processes and culture and in implementing the local continuous improvement program (from local management to shop floor). The position will participate in all deployments in a specific region, being on sites for longer periods. This position requires travelling.
·         Planning entities will have varying maturity levels of processes and desired culture
·         Responsible for managing (monitoring, reporting, communication, progress and metrics) the deployment of ALPS Plan in the planning in the part / BU / segment according to the plan;
·         Responsible for realizing and contributing to ISC metrics: service improvement (OTIF and Leadtime), DIO, SLOBs and engagement
·         Responsible for supporting, coaching and training the planning managers and employees of the planning entity
·         Serve as  “owner” of the management of change process for the deployment, is responsible for aligning with other regional deployment teams and for feeding back valuable insights to the COE, coordinate on training of planners & managers in tools and standards
·         Responsible for aligning with experts for other work streams in their team and feeding back valuable insights to the ALPS Planning team
·         Responsible for participation in and contribution to the following activities: “preparation”, “assess”, “train, build and use of the foundations and primary processes” and support the “embed and mature” during the deployment in a specific  part / BU / segment
·         Identify key planning personnel, understand planning organizational model, prepare leadership team for project execution and schedule required resources for planning project preparation and solution implementation phases
·         Prepare and support kick off and first change management session
·         Development of detailed As-Is process map
·         Complete assessment questionnaire
·         Identify current performance, KPI’s
·         Prepare gate review
·         Identify major focus improvements
Train, build and use of the foundations
·         Development of detailed communication plan
·         MFiB (Plan) simulation
·         Change Leadership workshop (CLW):
·         Train workplace organization
·         Train performance Management
·         Train focused improvements
·         Train data integrity
·         Train people & teamwork
·         Support the build and support of the foundations
·         Prepare gate review
Train, build and use of the primary processes:
·         Workshop on the primary processes
·         Verification of current process and map of the gaps
·         Support in developing the deployment plan for the processes (including needed system changes)
·         Prepare gate review
Monitoring & sustaining:
·         Coach planning project team, champions and employees
·         Monitor performance against key metrics and track progress
·         Continue support in optimization implementation, additional training and coaching when required
·         Conduct audits on effectiveness of work processes and leadership behaviours

Job requirements/Candidate profile

·         Bsc degree in Supply Chain, Change Management, Business, or related experience
·         Must be able to travel 60% of the time
·         3+ years of experience in Lean (or ALPS)
·         Sound basis in an operational role e.g. production planning, material planning, inventory management
·         Multiple years of practical experience in some of the following areas: production or material planning, Supply Chain, Program and project management, Organization design, leadership behavior, and change management
·         Experience in cultural transformation and change
·         Experience in continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous Improvement methodologies and tools or willingness to be trained in Lean Six Sigma
·         Project management experience
·         In-depth knowledge of Lean (ALPS) processes and methodologies
·         Change mind-set
·         Able to lead workshops and working groups
·         Taking information from real life observations
·         Good communication skills, from global supply planning managers to production scheduling
·         Seen by others as credible, trustworthy, and expert
