Main Responsibilities:

- Geography Sales Officer is responsible for achievement of agreed sales target/objectives for the defined territory which are given by SO’s direct manager

- S/He will be responsible for all commercial transactions with the dealers

- S/He will be responsible for achieving all network related targets as assigned for the territory (network expansion, revival of inactive outlets, product placement etc.)

- S/He will be responsible for business/outlet development & channel engagement in the territory mainly through CG & professional pricing coordination with the Professional Sales Officer

- The Geography Sales Officer shall work closely with the Professional Sales Officers, Market Development Officers and the Customer Service Officer (if present) in the Depot to deliver outstanding customer service to dealers

Key / Principal Objectives(Sales & Collection Performance)

1. Achievement of agreed sales & collections target/objectives for the territory.

2. Achievement of agreed PPS (Professional Painting Service) targets through MR Stores in the territory (wherever applicable)

3. Communication & explanation of all trade schemes as and when introduced.

4. Ensure that distributors provide an appropriate service (as per service level agreement) to the retailers/ sub dealers

5. Deliver high standards of customer service through regular visits, complaint resolution and commercial reconciliations.

6. Network management & expansion targets achievement (New Outlet opening, Product Placement, Range selling, new product placement etc.)

7. Deliver channel productivity as per defined norms

8. Provide information on competitors’ activities (promotions, price changes, new products, new dealer / store opening, new initiatives, any issues in the market etc.)

Key Accountabilities:

Product Placement

1. Ensure month on month billing of AN products to dealers– PPI(Product Placement)

2. Ensure dealers buy range of products (as defined) month on month – PRI (Product Range Index)

3. New product placement & activation

4. Check the stock at shelves & godown of the dealer and create order

Network Management:

1. R etention of existing dealers / sub dealers

2. Channel Expansion (New Dealer, New CSS, Sub Dealer & CSS sub dealer appointment)

3. Sales promotions activities/product displays at the outlets

4. Revival of inactive accounts

5. New distributor identification (Bharat geographies)

6. Distributor sales operations / Channel expansion through RS - (Bharat geographies)

Commercial Transactions:

1. Payment collection (regular & ODOS)

2. Maintain blank cheques from all dealers at depot

3. Monthly Account reconciliation. Quarterly balance confirmation

4. Getting approval for pricing for Professional sites / contractors wherever required and communicating the same to Professional team

5. Communication, agreement & documentation of Professional pricing (SSI sign off from dealers) as agreed by PRO team

Administrative / Processes:

1. Journey planning using online PJP tool as per norms& adherence

2. Propose amendments to visit frequencies to Area Sales Manager

3. Provide all relevant or requested information to ASM.

4. Attending and recording customer complaints on share point

5. Ensure Distributor scheme disbursement to sub dealers

6. Ensure CG contractor points updation through dealers in CRM system
