Do you already have experience of the vehicle refinish world and are looking to develop your career in a company that will encourage your input, welcome your ideas and act on them? That business is AkzoNobel. We’re looking for a Colour Support Specialist to join our Vehicle refinish business and build on our reputation for colour excellence. Providing colour support to our customers, you’ll ensure that everyone has the right first time paint match. The clients you will be working with range from refinish bodyshops to repair centres and manufacturer fleet services. Using colour digitisation technology you’ll be supporting our customers by developing and mixing colour combinations to match their colour requirements.
 
As Colour Support Specialist you will act as our local colour support expert. This will involve making contact and visiting bodyshops, PDI's, Import Centers, Central storages to collect measurements, car parts and colour information. You will also share this local market knowledge with internal stakeholders. You will execute colour initiatives in the market, roll out colour tools and produce monthly reports covering on-going major local colour activities. You will handle colour complaints.working with our support lab and feedback results to customers. Important will be the ability to provide competitor monitoring and benchmarking too.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

With a background in the automotive industry you will be used to working cross functionally with a range of individuals and teams.  Strong IT skills are a must and previous experience of using a CRM system would be advantageous (but not a requirement). Comfortable working directly with customers, you are able to work on your own initiative, possess good communication skills and are flexible to adapt to changing priorities. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
