• Support the sites and their planning departments to run/operate planning efficiently, to manage agile, cost effective supply networks (incl. Intercompany Delivery) at lowest possible inventory levels. Ensure on time, in full delivery to market demand
• Coordinate long term planning in the Americas. Evaluate the risks and establish mitigation plans together with the commercial and site teams.
• Translate demand and capacity situation into strategies for sourcing and planning.
• Control, deploy and optimize fleet availability across the region.
• Prepare the regional Supply Review by consolidating inventory policy proposals for both; Finished Goods and Raw & Packaging Material.
• Monitor supply networks, compliance and arbitration of service level agreements.
• Collaborate with operation and commercial teams to determine the best supply point for the different products and various destinations, ensure lowest possible supply chain networks while ensuring stability to provide high level of service.
• Control, deploy and optimize inventory across the region. Review the flow and the supply network of the goods.
• Responsible to ensure that global policies and procedures for ISO maintenance, handling and transport are implemented and followed regionally within Sulfur Derivatives. Manage and optimize the use of our global ISO container and railcar fleet
• Responsible for ensuring operational excellence in fleet asset productivity within Sulfur Derivatives
• Assist the Demand Manager and the commercial teams in improving the quality of forecast data.
• Work out Fleet Planning together with site supply chain, and keep master data updated.
• Suggest improvements to the demand planning, supply planning and scheduling processes.
• Responsible for the monthly updated supply plan for ESD Sulfur Derivatives Globally (run and analyze sourcing scenarios, prepare supply reports, execute and document supply meetings.)

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management or related area of study.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Planning. Experience in a manufacturing environment required; Chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Project Management experience preferred
• Previous background in building and maintaining strong customer relationships internally and externally
• This position requires both a deep knowledge of planning; product; customer and production asset management.
• The successful incumbent will also have a high level of people management skills due to the large number of collaboration partners.
• Requires strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
• APICS Certification and Six Sigma preferred
• ERP experience required; SAP experience a plus
