You will have worked in a supply chain role and gained a good understanding of MRP and how to control it. Now you are looking to develop your expertise in a business that will make the most of your input, welcome your ideas and act on them. That is what we can offer you at AkzoNobel with this Supply Chain Planner position. We are the name behind leading brands such as Dulux, Cuprinol, Polycell and Hammerite and want you to manage the supply chain of a discrete segment of products, including production planning and inventory control.
 
As Supply Chain Planner you will review and action daily MRP output and generate a daily production schedule as well as communicate plan changes with other departments. We will look to you to allocate production output based on demand and ensure the correct products are shipped to the correct countries. You will maintain inventory levels and stock availability as well as actively manage out of date/redundant stock. You will also monitor demand to ensure sales variances are captured and addressed. Important will be the ability to follow processes and identify improvement activities within the department.
 
You will have worked in a supply chain role and gained a good understanding of MRP and how to control it.   You will also have high levels of expertise in Excel and Outlook. A clear understanding of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint would be an advantage. Highly numerate, you will have an eye for detail as well as strong communication and organisational skills. You will also be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.
