Schedules production with a high level of understanding of the trade-offs between service, forecast error and manufacturing costs. Assigns proper number of workers to the jobs during each day, and determines when activity should start and end. Responsible for allocating resources to fulfill about $300K worth of sales on a daily basis.
·          Takes care of order acceptance (entry and selection) while communicating with planning and
·          Performs and oversees administrative tasks related to process orders.
·          Produce daily and weekly schedule to ensure desired outcome in on time delivery.
·          Contributes to CI / ALPS projects and proactively identifies and signals opportunities to increase
performance and efficiency.
·          Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory
policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs
(PSRA) standards.
·          Lead daily and weekly scheduling meetings.
·          Responsible for tracking key process indicators (% schedule adherence).
·          Optimize production schedule through proper resource allocation.
·          Issue process orders to Production.
·          Ensure materials and equipment are pre-arranged for production.
·          Proactively identify roadblocks and issues and propose corrective action
·          Proposes changes in BOM router times based on actual performance.
·          Develops weekly status reports for the Management Team
·          Performs other duties as required or requested

Job requirements/Candidate profile

Minimum education Level: Associate’s Degree with ample work experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with little to no experience.
College degree in Supply Chain or Engineering is preferred.
·          2+ years or more in a manufacturing environment in lieu of college degree.
·          Experience in a heavy process driven environment.
·          Strong knowledge of manufacturing process flow.
·          Strong understanding of manpower, raw materials and equipment capabilities
·          Continuous Improvement mindset
