Functional Responsibilities/Network required
1.    Responsible for actual plant operation & day to day manufacturing activity as per procedure and supervise process operators.
2.    Trouble shooting of process problems, root cause analysis and taking corrective actions.
3.    Filling up production records and compiling production data for MIS
4.    Responsible to initiate emergency action plan, in case of any emergency at site.
5.    Coordination with other departments to ensure smooth running of plant and product realization.
6.    Meeting customer requirements and compliance to legal, statutory and any other requirements to which the company subscribes.
7.    Active participation in various committees and teams to achieve common goals and targets like PSM team, HSES committee, BBS, Energy committee etc.
8.    Facilitating internal and third party audits.  
9.    Issuing and authorizing work permits in department.
10.  Sharing and implementing best practices in department.
11.  Good housekeeping and upkeep of plant.

Key Objective of Position
·         To carry out manufacturing of Organic Peroxides.
·         Planning of Production activities and co-ordination with other departments.
Principal accountabilities
·         Manufacturing of quality products as per the standard operating procedures.
·         Implementation of management systems in department like ISO 9000, 14000, OHSAS 18000.
·         Ensure Safety of process, plant, men and machinery.
·         Reporting any deviation with the process/ any incidence at plant.
·         Adhering to company’s policies and directives.

Requirements for Job (education or experience required to be able to perform this job):
·         Graduate/Diploma Chemical Engineer preferably with 2-3 years’ experience of working in a chemical industry.
·         Good knowledge of unit operations and processes, problem solving abilities and manpower handling skills.
