AkzoNobel Polymer Chemistry - has an outstanding opportunity for an Integrated Supply Chain Analyst. The Integrated Supply Chain Analyst is a multi-tasking role, providing analysis, maximizing the effectiveness of our global activities for Integrated Supply Chain.
Specific Tasks:
- Analysis, coordination, communication support to global Purchasing Director, Director of Supply Chain, Director of Integrated Supply Chain, and Director of Control – Fixed Costs Collect, collate, analyze and interpret spend information relevant to BU Functional Chemicals and its various global markets: past performance, forecasts and advice on opportunities for improvement in purchasing. - Key point of contact for all information and data related to purchasing
- For instance: prepare RF/Budget (forecast) indices for ANS reporting savings initiatives to ANS and the AkzoNobel Tracker, preparing monthly KPI reports and analyzing payment terms.
- Maintain data analysis for Inventories, forecasts, and working capital elements for regions and territories.

- Procurement strategies- Assist the Purchasing Director and Regional Purchasing Managers by updating and maintaining the global purchasing portfolio analyses
- Assist in formulating key (raw) material strategies in consultation with the relevant commodity manager
- Provide information and consequences on changes in the raw material markets
- For instance: support in the search of new suppliers, analysis of import/export statistics or the comparison of supplier proposals.
- Maintain the interactive portal for Procurement including the product approval process.

- Procurement process- Optimize and secure data validation of purchasing data in the BW systems (both local and ANS system) – key user local Business Warehouse, focal point ANS BW.
- Develop and maintain effective data-management tools, with help from IT/IM colleagues, such as the Raw Material Index
- Educate colleagues on the use of purchasing tools, reporting requirements and systems

- Management of Analytics and Metrics for Integrated Supply Chain- Drive accurate and timely completion of metrics for the global team
- Be focal point for ad hoc requests and manage through team of analysts
- Own internal website for ISC (Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain)

Job requirements/Candidate profile

- Bachelor Degree; preferably in Business, Mathematics, or Engineering
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience, preferably in a commercial/international environment
- Highly proficient in MS Office Packages (Excel, Access, Cloud), support usage of IM tools and systems and ensure development, transfer and safeguarding of procurement knowledge
- Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system) and Business Warehouse (or equivalent data warehouse) a preference
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Creative thinker, seeks solutions to problems and opportunities for improvement
- Good team player with communication skills – a good energetic networker who is able to win people’s commitment and support
- Analytical and numerate, with commitment to accuracy and quality of data; diligence in seeking accurate and reliable source data
- Experienced and capable in multi-tasking, working on several subjects and projects at the same time and is a self-starter
- Project leader capacities; strong change manager who can make things happen across different business units
- Travel up to 25% of the time (domestic and international travel)
