• Manage assigned customer accounts by providing proactive integrated customer service and total coordination/communication with both internal and external personnel. Facilitates successful order fulfilment (order processing, expediting, and problem resolution, credit/debit/invoicing).
• Provide proactive sales support by assisting in the development of closer relationships with customer accounts in conjunction with Sales and Marketing strategies. Participate in customer support teams, document communications and actions required, ensure follow through on problem resolution, and provide a communication link to facilitate real-time understanding of customer requirements, issues and needs.
• Administers and interprets Sales/Marketing programs and assists with program roll-out/education. Monitors pricing, policies and procedures.
• Participate in team environment. Develop cross functional backup to support all business units.
• Support corporate, customer and quality initiative as required by integrating into the day-to-day work flow processes.
• Must be competent in all business processes. Knowledge of SAP functionality and Microsoft Excel a plus.
• Has responsibility for assigned accounts and to ensure fulfilment of orders accurately and timely. Has authority to decide best course of action to exceed customer service level expectations. Provides communication at meetings with internal and external customers, i.e., plants, warehouses, Sales, Marketing, etc.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• High school diploma required with at least 4+ years’ customer service / sales / marketing environment or Bachelor’s degree.
• Customer service/sales/ marketing experience with a manufacturing company preferred
• Significantly developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas and properly describe problems and solutions; high level of computer literacy.
• Experience in dealing with people at all levels.
• Highly motivated, self starter with an ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• High level of adaptability to change in new and different business situations and work assignments.
