Salary up to £40,000 plus bonus, company car, fuel card and many more benefits.

We are now recruiting an Account Manager to work with professional specifiers working on building and infrastructure projects and ensure our decorative trade products are used in specifications for work.
 
As Specification Account Manager your remit will be to increase sales, market share and profitability for our products by selling the benefits of our brands and offering paint specification and technical advice to professional specifiers and our Specifier Development Managers and Contractor Development Managers. This will involve identifying specification solutions for new and/or changing substrates, developing relationships with key specifiers and building a reputation as a coatings industry expert. We will also look to you to monitor and report on sector developments and competitor activities. Important too will be the ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
 
You must have extensive experience in a customer facing role ideally with a paint background. This will have given you expertise in developing and executing strategic customer plans as well as using market and customer insights to drive a market leading position. Good at developing relationships at all levels you will demonstrate excellent communication and financial skills too. Self-motivated, you are comfortable at prioritising your workload, excel at achieving targets and are resilient in negotiations. Critically, you will be the sort of person who is passionate about excellence and delivers on commitments.  You will be field based with an expectation to be visiting customers on a daily basis. A full driving licence is also essential.
