o Safety and Environmental Compliance of workforce
o Setting goals for maintenance performance through establishing KPIs and priority setting
o Mechanical Integrity Program oversight and management
• Manage Inspections to ensure compliance with schedule
• Maintain API certifications for sign-off on inspections of equipment
• Coordinate with Vendors for external certification requirements
• Manage team of 2 inspectors
• Ensure work orders for each inspection required for charging time of inspectors to
• Ensure training and certifications stay current for Inspectors
• Weekly Inspections updates and KPI tracking
o Capital Projects oversight and management
• Manage team of Project Manager and Construction Manager for small capital projects implementation, all phases
• Serve on Capital Projects Site Review Team for idea vetting, status updates, and progress tracking
• Participant in MOC process
• Process Appropriations Requests (ARs) for Reliability Improvement Projects (back-up also for Project Manager)
o Manage Reliability for Maintenance Org
• Manage 1 Reliability Technician
• Review PdM and PM compliance and KPIs
• Interpret reliability results and decision making for reliability
• Performs Root Cause Problem Solving for Bad Actors (based on cost and re-occurrence) to eliminate
• Predictive Maintenance (PdM) oversight and management; oversee scheduling of work based on results of PdM
 Long Term Maintenance Strategy based on
• Criticality Assessments of Equipment
• Failure Modes and Effects Analysis of equipment
• Cost to repair, quality impacts, and production loss
• Establishing required degree of reliability of equipment
 Provide benchmark/industry data for reliability improvement
 Make proposals for standardization of parts
 Transfer learnings to different units of the plant
• Identifying opportunities to enhance the overall maintenance work process and improve cost effectiveness and efficiency
• Overall Housekeeping and 5S program management for Maintenance Organization
• On-call supervisor duties (rotational) to field after hour call outs for dispatching technicians
• Perform routine Housekeeping Audits and Safety Audits
• Ensuring maintenance policies are clearly described and documented, and translated into preventive maintenance work orders where applicable
• Monitoring changes in rules and regulations and AN standards that may impact Equipment Maintenance strategies and taking corrective action accordingly

Job requirements/Candidate profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering discipline required
• 10 years’ experience in industrial plant setting
• At least 3+ years’ experience in Reliability Role
• SAP experience is required
• Supervisory and capital project management experience a plus
• API Certifications for Fixed vessels is preferred but not required
• Microsoft Excel advance functionality experience is preferred
• Organization skills are critical for balancing multiple items at once
• Communication skills are critical to the role as it will interface between multiple departments
