Our Specialty Chemicals Business Unit delivers innovative coatings solutions to customers in the key markets of aerospace, yacht, consumer electronics and automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM).  We are the only aerospace supplier with Basecoat/Clearcoat approved at both Boeing and Airbus, and we also have a global presence in automotive. Main Purpose
The main objective will be to optimize the balance between service - stock - cost for the Supply Chain of the Waukegan site
·         Establish optimal supply strategies (MTS / MTO) in agreement with Demand Management and Production • Define and maintain optimal stock policies (Safety Stock, Planning Cycle)
·         Ensure communication between Supply Chain departments (Demand – Supply-Production).
·         Develops and provide to scheduling a weekly/monthly supply plan.
·         Coordinates SLOB management.
·         Responsible for the Supply Review (including RCCP capacity analysis).
·         S & OP: Responsible for inputs for the MBR
·         Assist in the process of budgeting and setting objectives (OTIF, Inventories, SLOBs) for the Supply Planning
·         Maintain Supply Planning metrics, systems, processes   and execute continuous improvement.
·         Participate promptly in improvement initiatives ( Training, etc.).
·         Performs other duties as required or requested.
·         Participates proactively in New Product Introduction.
·         Maintain MRP MD for existing materials and NPIF.
·         Contributes to CI / ALPS projects and proactively identifies and signals opportunities to increase performance and efficiency.
·         Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.

Job requirements/Candidate profile

·         College degree, preferably in engineering, or supply chain
·         3 years or more in a manufacturing environment preferred (Bulk & Fill).
·         Proficiency in SAP PP & MM
·         Lean Six Sigma
·         Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
·         Applicants must possess excellent analytical skills, be an effective communicator and have excellent customer relationship management skills.
