The System Landscape Manager retains specific knowledge, monitors the Application and Infrastructure landscapes and acts as template gatekeeper. The System Landscape Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the IT landscape and makes sure IM services are delivered, in line with architecture guidelines and principles.
The System Landscape Manager reports into the Service Integration Manager. The GPO IM department is responsible for simplifying, standardizing, globalizing and automating processes in an E2E service environment. The team is the primary service interface to BA’s and functions.  Within the GPO IM department, a Service Integration Management (SIM) team is positioned. This team defines and creates end to end services, based on the functionalities defined by IM CoE’s, and combining services from internal and external suppliers.
Landscape and architecture control
- Responsible for managing and controlling the full IT landscape and makes sure IM services are delivered in line with architecture guidelines and principles
- Retaining landscape specific knowledge, acting as a template gatekeeper
- Enforces the global process, establish close links with project teams, challenge and find ways of improving the controls of landscape management
- Ensures the landscape is kept well performing and healthy through functional checks, continuous improvements and technical projects in relevant area(s)
- Responsible for coordinating escalations for complex incidents in the run (operational) phase
- Responsible for resilience of the landscape and operationally engaging with various teams to meet the KPI's.
- Coordinate and guard architecture standards in the change and release management process
- Assess Operational supportability and establish impact assessments
- Enforces standards in line with architecture and global processes and establishes a close links with project and change teams
- Challenges and finds ways of improving the controls of landscape management.
- Controls that solution requirements are implemented in line with architecture standards and in line with approved designs of the solution
- Guards and ensures that solutions compatible with the existing (technical) architecture, and in line with strategy, policy, guidelines
- Ensures quality and consistency with template design for deployments
- Alignment with Solution Architecture, Innovation Management and Enterprise architecture on roadmaps, designs and planning
- Proactively seeks continuous architecture and service improvement opportunities (cost and performance)
- Understand the business strategies and directions; actively partner with the CoE’s in IM and other stakeholders and be able to challenge them and understand implications on system landscapes
- Identify knowledge gaps and repair those in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure that relevant (IM) teams are provided with feedback and practical advice on how to use the Catalogue
- Pro-actively contribute to the operational integrity of GBS operations through continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Actively seeks alignment and cooperation (‘shoulder to shoulder’ mindset) with the other GBS domains. Raise the bar by continuously look for ways to improve
- Build trusted relationships with partners and stakeholders within IM, GBS and strategic vendors

Experience / Education
- Master degree (or equivalent) in business, applied sciences like engineering, systems design, computer sciences or other related field
- 8 – 10 years (senior IT managerial) experience required within a complex international environment
- Has worked in complex environment and in an international, outsourced services context
- Experience with managing IT and architecture standards
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross functional work teams
- Significant experience working in multi-disciplinary IM teams or services
- Hands on knowledge in managing Enterprise Applications
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing architectures
- Broad knowledge and experience of architecture, IT security, technology platforms and business domains and relevant experience in functional domain
- High-level understanding of frameworks such as TOGAF

o   Maintenance planning DTAP Pro-active (projects and maintenance schedules involving enhancements or server maintenance)
