Company Secretariat Assistant
Salary £27,000 - £30,000
Slough, Berkshire
We are looking for a newly qualified GRADICSA to support our Company Secretary with providing first-class company secretariat services to our UK group. Having recently graduated, you want to develop your skills in a company that will make the most of your input, welcome your ideas and act on them.
You’ ve found it at AkzoNobel - the name behind world-class brands like Dulux, Cuprinol, Polycell, International and Interpon.
Your role will primarily involve maintaining our Blueprint OneWorld database of 50+ UK Companies, as well responsibility for all statutory filings required by Companies House. You will maintain our register of directors’ residential addresses, PSC registers, ratification schedules and minute books. You will also assist with the execution of legal documents, and other corporate administrative work including uploading contracts, notifying the Group database of local board changes and updating internal systems.
You will be a newly qualified GRADICSA with experience of at least one prior company secretarial role. You will need a thorough knowledge of the Companies Act 2006 and good IT skills, including proficiency in Blueprint OneWorld software. You will have an eye for detail, sound judgement and be proactive.  
Above all, you have to be determined to provide a great service to all customers – internal and external to AkzoNobel.
This is a temporary contract, but has the potential to become a permanent role for an impressive candidate. Salary of £27,500 - £30,000 based on knowledge and experience.
Our Slough office is easily accessible by road and public transport with Slough train station, a short walk away.
