Please find below JD for MDO position:
1.    Market Development Officer is responsible for delivering business objectives through CG contractors (share gain at existing contractors and acquiring new contractors)
2.    S/He will be responsible for all for capability development of Contractor Relationship Officers (CRO) for handling CG contractors, Demand Generation & sell out activities through CG contractors
Key / Principal Objectives:(Business Development)
1.    Responsible for demand Generation activities / Sell Out support to depot team through CG contractors
2.    Responsible for capability development of Contractor Relationship Officers (CRO) for handling contractors, Demand Generation & sell out activities through CG contractors
3.    Ensure regular engagement with CG contractors, enrolment of new contractors, revival of inactive contractors etc. Engagement – 50% of registered contractors buy month on month from ANI
4.    Deliver Value per contractor target as per defined norm
5.    Ensure timely communication about new products offerings and intervention to CG contractors.
6.    Ensure site leads qualifying as Professional sites are intimated to the respective Professional Sales Officer where such roles exist
Key Accountabilities:
Capability Development
1.    Build capability of CROs for contractor management, Demand Generation & sell out activities through CG contractors.
2.    Execute fixed training calendar for all CROs
3.    Ensure and monitor contractor training through CROs.
Administrative / Processes:
1.    Journey planning (self) using online PJP tool as per norms & adherence
2.    Ensure PJP compliance by CROs as per norms
3.    Administer gift redemption to CG contractors.
4.    Provide all relevant or requested information to ASM.
5.    Customer Complaint Management (attending, recording, internal follow-ups & communicating the resolution status) on the sites handled by CG team
Market / Competitor information:
Provide information on competitors’ activities (promotions, price changes, new products, new contractors, contractor meets, new initiatives, any issues in the market etc.)
