Lead Data Principal Supply Chain & PTP

The role and its responsibilities
This role is based at our large site in Sassenheim, the Netherlands, where your core task is to assume responsibility for the quality of data, and the successful execution of the data management strategy, for Supply Chain & PTP.

In order to achieve this you align with the corporate Global Master Data Management (GMDM) program and the Data Management Reporting & Analytics (DMRA) team on all matters regarding data quality, the SAP MDG program and other general MDM topics. You also maintain close relationships with the Business Unit Data Managers, local master data coordinators, GPO’s and data owners. Other important stakeholders are the wider SAP, BI and AX user community and the corporate IT department.

Thus you are very much involved in defining and driving the execution of the data management strategy. At the same time you lead a team of young high potentials tasked with translating business requirements into solutions across all elements of our data management framework. The team also rolls out various data quality improvement projects and the global roll out of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance system).

On an ongoing basis you drive the team’s continuous improvement methodology and you identify, define and run large and small projects to improve data quality and process efficiency. This includes driving standardized End to End processes and tools around MDM.

As such, this is a role for candeidates who are energized by the possibility of managing and leading projects and people within a complex stakeholder landscape in which you challenge the status quo.

Candidate profile
To apply for this position you must possess all the following attributes:
- Master’s degree or equivalent through experience, along with deep knowledge of data maintenance processes, data models and data governance;
- Ideally you have experience with Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing business processes;
- Able to act as sparring partner of the department lead and the other Management Team (MT) members;
- Committed to process excellence and continuous improvement;
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Visio and Powerpoint;
- Powerful international communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
