A sales professional with experience of developing and executing strategic customer plans you are looking for a new challenge in a business that will make the most of your input, welcome your ideas and act on them. Look for further than this Regional Sales Manager position with AkzoNobel. Home to world class products and top brands we are recruiting a B2B sales professional to develop and execute the regional plan in our East territory in line with our overall contractor/specifier strategy.
As Regional Sales Manager you will drive growth across your region by developing and executing customer plans. You will take responsibility for financial performance, executing promotions, meeting cash collection targets, controlling costs and negotiating terms with regional customers. You will also build strong customer relationships as well as gain an understanding of customer’s current and future needs and use that insight to identify business growth opportunities.
You will be responsible for managing a team of 9 people covering 3 roles that are aligned to the needs of our diverse customers, 3 members of your team are responsible for account managing regional specifiers, from architect practices to local housing associations, 3 are responsible for account managing large scale painting contractors and 3 provide the technical expertise and back up. You will have the ability to inspire and develop the regional team as well as nurture talent and encourage a continuous improvement culture.
You possess excellent communication, influencing and financial skills. Self-motivated, you are comfortable at prioritising your workload, effective at achieving targets and resilient in negotiations. You are also effective at motivating and developing high performing sales teams. A driving license is essential too.
