This role will be responsible for providing leadership for the establishment & development of a Projects sales
channel in the UAE, Kuwait & Qatar as well as deliver the Volume, Revenue and OPI as per Budget from the
retail sales operations in UAE for the Decorative Paints business (all brands).
Main tasks and Responsibilities:
- Execution of specification & Projects sales strategy in the UAE & Qatar
- Assist in crafting strategy for entry into Kuwait & Bahrain market
- Management of projects, working with teams from future partners in new geographies
- Facilitate structured & regular market intelligence to the Professional Marketing team to ensure correct portfolio & pricing decisions
- Interact with & develop a solid working relationship with existing & new JV partners at the operational level to higher levels of coordination in the market
- Work with specifiers and ensure specification for the Dulux Professional range
- Train the team on specification and establish the Dulux Professional brand with key specifiers in the Cluster
- Transition the business generation model from site driven to Key Account Management driven Revenue (as per Budget)
- Contribution margin (as per Budget)
- Cost – Fixed cost & discount (as per Budget)
- Capability development of specification & sales team

Job requirements/Candidate profile

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Management.
Has 10+ years of experience in the paints / coatings industry with focus on retail sales and ideally customer marketing.
Effective communication skills with key stakeholders – consultants, painters and team members.
Worked in Projects sales (Paints /Coatings/ Construction Materials) ideally in the Decorative Paints segment in the Middle east.
