As a result of the ambitious growth plans, an exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in our office in Dubai, UAE for a Manager Distribution Operations.


This position will report to Retails Sales Manager and will be responsible for the development and performance of independent dealers their application division and the sales budget in line with company strategy. This includes retail sales support and new shops management.


Main tasks and Responsibilities:


·         Understand channel segmentation strategy which will be the foundation in channel communication and activation programs.

·         Lead the development and implementation of in-store initiatives to deliver strong brand presence in-store and conversion.

·         Set the relevant targets and KPIs, in alignment with Sales team; monitor and measure to drive effectiveness.

·         Develop and implement annual calendar, that is integrated with Brand and Consumer marketing calendar and Sales plans

·         Liaise with Colour Manager in developing and deploying Colour communication tools and collaterals in-store 

·         Manage painter channel and drive activation and in store promotion scheme for this market segment.

·         Manage budget;  prepare Capex proposals for POST complying with Finance guidelines,  work closely with Purchasing on spare-part costs

·         Manage relevant documentation, coordinating with relevant functions such as Purchasing, Finance, Legal, Sales.

·         Actively build the performance of  the individuals (including retailer staff) of the team and provide correcting measures (training, on-the-job, coaching) 

·         Closely collaborate with retails sales manager in selecting new retailers

·         Be familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct and HSE standards and acting in compliance with all applicable regulations

Job requirements/Candidate profile

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in the business management with minimum 7 years of relevant experience in branded consumer goods industry.   Applicant should understand how the retail channel operates.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Experience working in a multicultural, multi-site and matrix organisation structure will be a distinct advantage.
